BIF FC Avalon Dark Voyager of Ryhka, SC, LCM2

Vger is one of our all-time favorite dogs and sire of our Trek; the months Vger spent here in early 2008 were a joy. Everything about this hound makes my heart go pitty-pat just a little bit faster.
It was hard to let Sandra Moore (Avalon) take this incredible hound home.
CH Teine Lord of the Isles, SC, FCh

Cashel spent a couple of months with us in early 2009, finishing his health clearances and picking up some AKC LC points, including a 3 pt. major and a BOB.
He is co-owned by Rebecca Peters-Campbell (Kinobi) and Melissa Pearce (Attaway).
Avalon Xplorer

Xpo helped grow out her brother Trek for three months in mid-2009. Their favorite pass-times were jumping on each other’s heads and cuddling for naps. Sweet, friendly, and with her do-first-think-later approach to life,
Xpo was an entertaining guest.
Pictured here at 5-1/2 months just before going to her forever-home in Montana with Jacky and Bruce,
where she is called “Dream.”

Tamora spent a couple of weeks with us in the summer of 2010 after we pulled her from the Albuquerque shelter.
Aged 9-1/2, Tamora was surprising athletic for such a hefty girl. She is most assuredly not cat-safe.
Tamora had been loose for an unknown amount of time prior to being picked up by Animal Control.
Our thanks to Groomingdales for saving her coat - wow! And deepest appreciation to Vanessa Johnson (ShuttlePet) for making the last-minute pick-up to return Tamora to her breeder,
Kay Henderson (Wildwood), in California.

FC Avalon Rumor of Angels, FCh, GRC, DT, CGC, MC

Rumor was here on lease for our 2010 racetracks litter. She arrived just in time for the chaos of the 2009 holidays, and fit with ease in our busy routine. Her calm and sensible temperament quickly earned her full house privileges - even with our cat.
While here she earned her CGC and finished her MC titles.
It was a pleasure to have such a stable and pleasant bitch staying with us, though the local bird population probably didn’t feel the same way. Many thanks to her owners, Mary Childs & Dora McDonald (Wind n Satin), and best friend Chandra, for entrusting Rumor to us for several months.
Avalon Tigress in The Dark, FCh, GRC, DT, CC, CM, V-FCh, SC

Tigress is a wonder: absolutely lethal in the open field and completely cat-safe indoors. She is both a mirror image of her half-sister, Day, and a amazing individual all her own. She spent most 2009 into early 2010 with us, picking up a 3 pt. major (conformation). It was our privilege to condition and handle Tigress to her CM for owners Susan Van de Water (Del Sol) and Sandra Moore (Avalon).
We leased Tigress for our 2011 deadly weapons litter. In addition to being a spectacular producer, she picked up 2 SC legs, 2 ORC points and JOR legs, and earned her V-FCh before going home to TN.
FC Avalon WNS Rising Sun, SC, FCh, CGC, TDI, ORC

CJ spent part of the 2008 hunting season with us, finishing in the #2 spot and winning The Falco Trophy.
He stayed with us again for a while in 2011, picking up a JOR leg and some LCM points. CJ was BOB at the
2011 BCOA Nationals LGRA meet the weekend we returned him to his owner.
He’s a delightful hound with a charming personality - and is incredibly fast.
He is out of “our” Rumor, and is owned by Sandra Moore (Avalon).
BIF BBrISS FC Valinor's Circuit de Monaco at RiverRun, SC, GRC, CGC

Lotus joined us for several months in 2011, and earned full house privileges moments after entering our home. She is owned by Karla Smith, DVM (RiverRun).
Lotus and wins fans with everyone she meets. She is highly selective with her affections but saw fit to bestow us with her attentions. She and her sire, Jedi, were Best Brace at the BCOA Nationals in 2009. We are very pleased with her co-bred litter, whelped at RiverRun.
